Russian Tax Service is interested in Swiss subsidiary of Novatek

Russian Tax Service has sent an inquiry to the Tax Office of Switzerland for verification of transactions regarding the Yamal gas company of Novatek and its Swiss subsidiary. This and other inquiries of foreign Tax Services, in particular, Russia, Germany, France, India, have been published by the Tax Service of Switzerland.

Among Russian companies, on which the Swiss drew the attention, are also Kuzbass Fuel Company and Neftegazindustriya. In its reports the Tax Office of Switzerland (ESTV) refers to the federal act dated 2012 on international administrative assistance to combat against tax evasion.
