Gazprom sells 10% share in Interconnector gas pipeline

Gazprom has sold a 10% stake in the Interconnector gas pipeline, the Russian company informs in its annual report.
"As part of the strategy to optimize the portfolio of foreign assets the withdrawal of Gazprom and its subsidiaries from equity gas transmission companies of European countries outside the CIS and the Baltic countries is carried out. In the reporting year, the non-controlling stakes in the company Interconnector (UK) Ltd. (10%), carrying out operation of the Interconnector gas pipeline between the UK and Belgium, were sold," - Gazprom notes.
