SOCAR reduced hydrocarbons extraction by May 2015

In Jan-May 2015 SOCAR extracted 2.801 bln cubic m of gas, by 14.1% less against Jan-May 2014.
In May 2015 SOCAR extracted 576.1 mln cubic m of gas. 2.454 bln cubic m of gas wee extracted in Azerbaijan.
In Jan-May 2015 the company extracted 3.462 mln tons of oil, by 1.2% less against Jan-May 2014.
In May 2015 SOCAR extracted 706.5 thousand tons of oil.
SOCAR forecasts oil and gas extraction in 2015 at 40.7 mln tons of oil and 30.2 bln cubic m of gas.
The company reduced the volumes of drilling by 29.4% against 2014.
From the beginning of 2015, 28 new wells were put into operation.
