Iran intends to increase its share in the "Shah Deniz" gas project.

The country wanted to increase the share in the Azerbaijani gas project "Shah Deniz", the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Iran Mahmoud Vaez stated.
Vaez added: "The Iranian company NICO owns an equity participation in the "Shah Deniz" project and we have held talks with Azerbaijan to increase our share in the project".
