Astana has ratified the contract with Beijing on broadening of Kazakhstan-China pipeline

Astana has ratified the intergovernmental contract with Beijing about cooperation in the development and operation of the Kazakhstan-China pipeline. The agreement sets the mechanisms and terms for the realization of the projects for the development and operation of the Kazakhstan-China pipeline aimed at ithe enlargement of its transporting capacity. The expected capital investment is  $840 million, the Minister of Oil and Gas, U. Karabalin says, representing the law project on Thursday at the plenary session of the Upper Chamber of the Parliament
