The JV of Statoil and Rosneft for development of shelf sectors to be put into operation in the beginning of 2014

The JV of Statoil and Rosneft for development of the sectors in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Barents Sea will start working at the beginning of 2014, the vice-President of Statoil for development of deposits, Nils Telnes reported.
He didn’t specify the total financing of the project (Rosneft will provide for 66.67% and Statoil – for 33.33%), though assessed implementation of one such well in $100 million.
The first well at Magadan-1 sector will be drilled in 2016, at Lisyansky sector – in 2017, at Kashevarovsky and Perseus sectors – in 2018.
