JOGMEC to hold geological exploration in Uzbekistan

The national corporation of Oil, Gas  and Metals of Japan (JOGMEC) and Uzbekneftegas have signed an agreement on the main principles of holding  geological exploration for hydrocarbons raw materials at the perspectives sites in Uzbekistan.

JOGMEC until the end of Q1 2016 will study oil and gas at these sites, is reported. By the summer 2016 JOGMEC is to make a presentation of the geological exploration program, after that it will be issued a license for works at the selected sites. The agreement was signed during the visit of the PM of Japan to Uzbekistan, S. Abe, on October 24th-26th 2015.
