Son of Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy Yuri Trutnev helps Bashneft to drill out old wells
The company NGT of Dmitry Trunov, son of the presidential envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, has become a supplier of engines for drilling rigs to fields of Bashneft in Bashkiria. Because of the crisis, Bashneft began to drill out old wells, and it needs new engines for drilling machines, NGT reports. Bashneft couldn’t explain the choice of NGT as a partner.
In early October, NGT - the manufacturer of oil equipment (revenue in 2014 was 196.7 million rubles) - reported on its website on the successful testing of a new screw downhole motor with diameter of 165 mm for drilling rigs. Since the end of 2013, when his father became the envoy, Dmitry Trutnev owns 90% of NGT through the company Aysikel, 10% belong to Andrei Babikov.
NGT became the first Russian company, which developed and produced engines for drilling rigs with the new parameters for the drilling of old wells for Bashneft-mining (Bashneft’s subsidiary) in a short time. There are around 2000 such wells in the republic.
