Ukrnafta might sell its network of fuel stations – Rollins

​The head of the company, M. Rollins, admits an opportunity of selling the network of fuel stations of Ukrnafta.

The appointed in late September top-manager said that now he assesses the work of all sectors of Ukrnafta, including retail sales.

We will look for the variants to settle the problem with retail sales. If we don’t find out how to make profit, we will take measures. One of the variants is the sale of the retail business of Ukrnafta, he said.

He said the issue of the sale of fuel stations can be included in the strategic plan of development of Ukrnafta the presentation of which he promised to make in Q1 2016.

In April 2015 a commission agreement for 537 fuel stations was signed between Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta. Ukrnafta is just a commissioner, e.g. sells oil products belonging to Ukrtatnafta, and received commission for that. The companies controlled by Privat group agreed on that so as to  insure the company’s fuel stations from being “used as a source of settlement of the tax debt”.
