Gas contract between Gazprom and CNPC to be signed in May

The chairman of the Board of Management of Gazprom OJSC A.Miller and the chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC Zhou Jiping agreed it during the working meeting in Beijing last week. The press-release of Gazprom states about it.
In October 2009, OAO “Gazprom” and CNPC signed a frame agreement on main terms of natural gas supply from Russia to China. It considers an export of up to 68 billion cubic meters of gas a year to the Chinese market.
