Lukoil has confirmed oil productivity at block CI-401 at Cote d’ Ivoire shelf

Lukoil Overseas has completed drilling of the first evaluation well at the Independence deposit at block CI-401 in the Guinea bay at the Cote d’ Ivoire shelf. They confirmed oil productivity of the Turonian sands at the deposit discovered in December 2011 at the Independence deposit. Now they are treating the data raised while drilling, the materials on the deposit and evaluate the resource base. Later they’ll make the decision about the further evaluation at the deposit.
