Sibneftegaz slips into control by Rosneft

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has granted a request of the oil and gas company Itera (Rosneft) on purchase of 51% of Sibneftegaz’s voting shares. As a result of the planned transaction, Itera will become an owner of 99.9% of the Yamal oil and gas company’s voting shares.
