The Balkans negotiate upon gas supply from Russia via Turkey

Hungary is negotiating with Greece, Macedonia and Serbia on the Russian gas supply to the Central Europe via Turkey by the new gas pipeline, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, P. Siyyarto, said. Now Hungary receives the main part of the consumed gas from Russia via the Ukraine. But Gazprom warned the EU about the termination of gas transit via the Ukraine as soon as the gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey is constructed via the bottom of the Black Sea in 2-3 years. Russia suggested the EU not wasting time and constructing a new gas pipeline to the gas hub on the border of the EU and Turkey.
