Gazprom neft Orenburg increased hydrocarbons extraction by 17%

The consolidated extraction of hydrocarbons of Gazprom neft Orenburg in 2015 made up 4.46 mln tons of oil equivalent and grew by 17% against 2014.

Extraction growth was possible due to the realization of the program of efficiency rise of drilling of new wells and successfully held geological-technical measures. These measures (118), the launch of 80 wells and 13 sidetracking allowed to additionally extract 539.998 thousand tons of oil equivalent.

In 2015 the multi-stage layer hydrofracturing was held at the horizontal well at the Tsarichansky deposit. The application of this technology will allow to reach the maximum output at the putting into operation of new horizontal wells, CEO of Gazprom neft Orenburg, A. Voropaev, said.
