The Ukraine sharply increased import and reduced export of grease oil in 2015

In 2015 grease oil export from the Ukraine made up 148 thousand tons, which is by almost 3 times less than in 2014 (413.7 thousand tons). The import grew by more than 8 times to 193 thousand tons.

Ukrtatnafta exported 125 thousand tons of grease oil via the port of Odessa. In 2014 the volume was by 3 times higher – 371 thousand tons. Ukrgasdobycha reduced the export by more than twice: in total 18 thousand tons of grease oil from the Shebelinsky plant were exported overseas via the Yuzhny port; another 5 thousand tons were exported to Russia via the Topoli station (Kharkov region). The shipment was held by “Alter Group” company. In Jan 2015 the company shipped grease oil from the Avdeevka station, Krasny shakhter and Radushnoe stations.

Grease oil import made up 193 thousand tons, by 8.5 times more than in 2014 (23 thousand tons). The only supplier was Belarus. In Nov-December 96 thousand tons of grease oil were imported from Belarus. 114 thousand tons of grease oil were imported to the Ukraine by the following traders: Alliance Energo Trade (40 thousand tons), Ingus Oil (19 thousand tons), SOCAR (18 thousand tons), BNK-Ukraine  and BNKh-Ukraine (13.5 thousand tons) etc.
