Yakutia to produce not less than 22 tons of gold in 2016

The subsurface users of the republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are to keep production at about 22 tons in 2016, Minister of Industry of the republic of Sakha A.Panov stated.
According to him, there was produced 25 tons of gold in Yakutia in 2015. The growth is due to the launch of small placer gold deposits and increase of production by “Neryungri Metallic” LLC (part of Nordgold) at the deposit Gross, raise of ore processing volume at the Kuranakh Group of deposits of JSC “Aldanzoloto GRK” (part of “Polyus Gold”).
