The ex- CEO of Zarubezhneft N. Brunich has headed Caspian pipeline consortium. His candidature has been supported by all shareholders of CPC. The former chief N. Platonov will return to Transneft.
CPC is a pipeline system connecting Kazakhstan with the sea port of Novorossiysk where oil is loaded to tankers for further delivering to global markets. Mr. Brunich had been the CEO of Zarubezhneft since 2007, and left the post in the end of 2012.
