Reserves of small oil companies are estimated at 1 billion tons

The reserves of small oil companies are estimated at 1 billion tons, the  head of the independent association ,AssoNeft Elena Korzun told journalists.

“The share of C2 reserves of the vertically-integrated oil companies makes up only 34% in total reserves, and the share of independent companies reaches 62%. This means that the independent companies own new, young fields. This is their potential,” – Korzun said. She added that C2+C3 reserves of the independent small companies, which number in Russia is about 250, reach 1 billion tons of oil.
