United Petrochemical Company (ONK) belonging to "Bashneft" has lost a partner in a joint venture for the production of terephthalic acid and polyethylene terephthalate - Mexican Alpek. This company took advantage of the change in the shareholders of "Bashneft" - last year AFK "Sistema" was forced to give the oil company to the state - as an excuse to exit the joint venture. But the project appeared problematic even before this: its value during the FEED grew and the demand for the products of the joint venture in Russia was already satisfied.
