In the first quarter, the total output of chemical products in Tatarstan remained at the level of last year. This was reported by Tatneftekhiminvest-holding’s director report Raffinat Yarullin.
The increase in the production of mineral fertilizers, rubber and detergents balanced the decrease in the output fof polyethylene and carbon black.
Nizhnekamskneftekhim increased the production volume by 1.7%. The output of plastics was remained at the level of last year - 182 thousand tons. The production of polyethylene decreased in favor of other ethylene products. Polyethylene of linear grades was produced, for anti-corrosion coating of oil and gas pipes, for caps and closures.
