Structures of Rosneft and VTB are going to build bulk fuel installations at Pulkovo airport

The capacity of bulk fuel installations in the St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo, which is planned to be built by RN-Aero (a structure of Rosneft) and Infrastructure Investments Holding (VTB Group), will be 390 thousand tons of jet fuel per year, general director of RN-Aero Sergei Papkov said to reporters on Tuesday.

At the same time, according to the information given by him, the jet fuel consumption in Pulkovo was 390 thousand tons in 2015. Thus, the new bulk fuel installations will be able to provide up to 100% of the current needs of the airport in aviation fuel after its launch.

The new facility will use a centralized fueling system (the hub).
