NLMK increases slabs supply to OMK

​In 2015 NLMK increased by 1/3 the volume of steel products supply for the production of large diameter pipes to OMK.

In Jan-April 2015 NLMK increased steel supply for the production of plates to the Vyksa metallurgical plant (in the structure of OMK) to 326.5 thousand tons, by 31.6% more than in Jan-April 2014.

In total in 2015 it is planned to ship by 25% more slabs than in 2014 – 900 thousand tons against 724 thousand tons.

“The decision on the foundation of a chain on the production of large diameter pipes turned out to be mutually beneficial and strategically right. In the framework of cooperation with OMK from 2012, NLMK has shipped over 1.6 mln tons of products, including over 1 mln tons of large diameter pipes with increased requirements for the production of large diameter pipes and participation in Power of Siberia, Central Asia-China, Bovanenkovo-Ukhta, Southern Corridor etc”, Vice-President for sales of NLMK, I. Guschin, said.
