"Gazprom" confirms the Bulgarian version of the route of the gas pipeline Russia – Greece.

The input of the planned pipeline on the Black Sea shore in Bulgaria was really regarded as one of the options, but the European partners make the selection and approval of the route, the deputy chairman of "Gazprom" Aleksander Medvedev informs.

On Thursday, the presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated that the new gas pipeline from Russia to Greece could pass through Bulgaria. In February "Gazprom", the Italian Edison and the Greek DEPA signed a memorandum on deliveries of Russian gas under the Black Sea through third countries to Greece and from Greece to Italy.
