Government has included Bashneft in privatization plan

​The PM of Russia, D. Medvedev, has signed the order on the inclusion of Bashneft in the plan of privatization of federal property in 2014-2016.

Currently the Government holds 50.08% of Bashneft’s shares, Bashkiria-25% plus one share.

This decision aims for the growth of federal budget income from the privatization of federal property and creation of conditions for the attraction of investment into Bashneft.

By the order of the President of Russia as of May 16th 2016 Bashneft was excluded from the list of strategic enterprises and strategic joint stock companies.

The privatization plan of federal property and the main directions of federal property for 2014-2016 are approved by the Government order as of July 1st 2013.
