Over 950 bln roubles have been invested into the oil chemicals sector of Tatarstan in the past 5 years, the PM of Tatarstan, I. Khalikov, said.
It was a special 5-year program. The new program started in 2015. It presupposes the investment of another 650 bln roubles, he said.
It is about certain projects, for example, Taneco, Ammonium chemicals plant.
According to him, it is not occasional that the stake of the oil chemicals sector is 37.6% of the industrial production of Tatarstan. If Russia that has tremendous oil and gas reserves had at least 7.6% in the structure of its economy, we would stay the crisis in another way, he said.
