Austria does not confirm the news of Gazprom’s plans to buy stake in OMV

Chairman of the Austrian industrial holding company’s Supervisory Board, which controls 31.5% of the Austrian oil company OMV’s shares, Siegfried Wolf hasn’t confirmed the message about the possible purchase of 24.9% of OMV’s shares by Gazprom.
According Siegfried Wolf,the possible negotiations about purchase of 24.9% of OMV by Gazprom from the fund International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC) of Abu Dhabi is news for the Austrian industrial holding company.
