Oil extraction in Nenets Autonomous Area rose by 11% in 2016

​In January-May 2016 oil extraction in the Nenets Autonomous Area made up 6.6 mln tons, by 11% higher than in January-May 2015.

The oil extraction growth in the region is due to the increase of extraction at the Trebs and Titov deposits of Bashneft-Polyus, at the Labagansky deposit of Rosneft, Visovoy deposit of Rusvietpetro, Khariaga, Oshsky and Rossikhin deposits of Lukoil-Komi, at the objects of the Khariaga deposit developed by Total PPP by the PSA.

The extraction is growing at the shelf of the Pechora Sea – at the Prirazlomny deposit of Gazpromneftshelf Ltd – in January-May 2016 the extraction made up by almost twice less than in January-May 2015.

The accumulated extraction by the project reached almost 2 mln tons.

In total in 2016 oil companies plan to extract 16 mln 352 thousand tons of oil. In January-May 2016 the plan of extraction is executed by 40.4%.
