Participants of Kashagan project signed an agreement on oil, gas and sulfur distribution at the deposit
The participants of the project on the development of the Kashagan project in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea have signed documents on the order of oil, gas and sulfur collection from the deposit, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan reported.
The participants of the Kashagan project are KMG, Eni, ExxonMobil, Shell, Total, Inpex and CNPC.
The signing of this document is one of the key conditions of PSA Northern Caspian, the execution of which is required before the start of commercial extraction at the Kashagan.
The document determines the schedule, storage, extraction forecasts, distribution and calculation of volumes at the distribution of products between Kazakhstan and contractors.
The Kashagan is one of the largest oil deposits discovered in the past 40 years.
The geological reserves of Kashagan are assessed at 4.8 bln tons of oil.
