In H1, EP KMG increased oil production by 0.3%

In the first six months of 2015, producing subsidiary of the Kazakh national company KazMunayGaz the company Exploration Production KazMunayGas (EP KMG), including shares in Kazgermunai (KGM), CCEL (Karazhanbasmunay) and PetroKazakhstan (PKI) produced 6.122 million tons, which is by 0.3% more than in the same period of 2014, the company reported.

The production at the basic production assets of the company - Ozenmunaygas (OMG) and Embamunaygas (EMG) made up 4.107 million tons, which is by 2% more as compared with the same period in 2014. At the same time, OMG extracted 2.722 million tons of crude oil, which is by 4% more than in the same period of the previous year. In turn, EMG extracted 1.385 million tons, which is slightly less than in the same period of 2014.
