In January - May 2015 the import of polypropylene to Belarus decreased by 3.5%.

Within the first five months of this year the deliveries of polypropylene (PP) to the Belarusian market decreased by 3.5% compared to the same period in 2014 and amounted to little more than 32.2 thousand tons. The demand for propylene copolymers significantly decreased according to MRC.

According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, in May the imports of polypropylene in Belarus were reduced to 6.5 thousand tons against 7.8 thousand tons a month earlier. The reduction is due to large carryover supply from April purchases of polypropylene.
