Amurmetal to be offered to Koreans - VEB to offer Posco to become strategic investor of the plant

The first large foreign investor may appear in  Russian ferrous metallurgy. As  Kommersant has reported,the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (VEB) negotiates with the Korean Posco on its strategic participation in Far Eastern Amurmetal, which the bank received from the Deputy of the State Duma, Alexander Shishkin during the crisis. But at first VEB must persuade other creditors not to introduce competition management at the plant and then to wait for the non-fulfillment of the joint stock company purchase option by Shishkin.
