Within the first 7 months of 2015 Kazanorgsintez (KOS group TAIF), Russia's largest producer of polyethylene (PE), produced products worth 40.5 billion roubles, which is 1.8% more than in the same period of 2014 in comparable prices, the Kommersant informs.
In January-July 2015 KOS produced 433.3 thousand tons of polyethylene, which is 2.3% more compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the company produced 122.6 thousand tons of high-pressure polyethylene LDPE, which exceeds the figure for the same period in 2014 by 6.6%, and 310.7 thousand tons of polyethylene (HDPE), a 0.7% increase compared to January - July 2014.
