SOCAR has restarted a well at Gyuneshli deposit

After geological –technical measures SOCAR has restarted a well at the shallow part of the Gyuneshli deposit.
At the Gyuneshli deposit the drilling of not only new wells but the recovery of wells inactive fund is held. As a result of the held geological-technical measures, well 80 has been put into operation at the 13th platform.
The daily output of the well is 100 thousand cubic m. Its project depth is 3,075-3,052 m. The oil and gas extraction management “May 28” of Azneft is the operator of the well.
In 2014 SOCAR extracted over 8.32 mln tons of oil against 8.31 mln tins in 2013. In 2014 Azerbaijan extracted over 42.4 mln tons of oil against 43.5 mln tons in 2013.
