On September 27, the Governor of the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan B. Izmukhabetov told at the briefing in Astana that in 2013 the regional hydrocarbons production increased by 13%. In January – August, the Atyrau region increased production of oil by 11.5% to 21 million tons, and gas by 15% to 10 million cubic m.
