Proven reserves of oil in Azerbaijan 2 billion tons, gas – at 3.45 trillion tons

Proved oil reserves in Azerbaijan make up 2 billion tons, gas - 2.55 trillion cubic meters, the first vice-president of SOCAR Khoshbakht Yusifzade reported.
According to him, projected oil reserves are also estimated at 2 billion tons, gas - at 3.45 trillion cubic meters. Thus, the country has reserves in the volume of 10 billion tons of oil equivalent. As K.Yusifzade noted, in 2013, 9.8 billion cubic meters of gas and 2.6 million tons of gas condensate were produced from the Shah Deniz field.
