Transneft stops oil loading at all ports

The Adviser to Transneft’s president, Igor Demin has stated that the state-owned company has suspended oil shipment at almost all ports: Koz'mino, Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Novorossiysk.

According to Demin, oil shipment at Koz'mino was suspended on October 27th, a storm in the port started in the morning. A storm warning is in force in Primorsk and Ust-Luga, oil loading into tankers was suspended.

"The most difficult situation is currently in Novorossiysk, there's a storm has lasted from Friday. We are waiting for the improvement in weather in Novorossiysk tomorrow, from the second half of the day,"- said Demin. He added that a working situation remains only at the port of Makhachkala.
