ESPO expansion will allow to increase oil supply to China and APR

The aim of of the diversification of oil exports from Russia in the eastern direction to increase the supply volumes to China and APR and the project of expansion of ESPO up to 80 mln tons a year is being realized.

The main projects on the development of the system of oil products pipelines are:the construction of a “South” products pipeline with the throughput capacity of up to 11 mln tons a year, the expansion of the “North” products pipeline up to 25 mln tons a year, the growth of oil products pumping volumes to the Moscow region. Thus in the framework of the development of the system of products pipelines the priority is the European export direction and the domestic market of Russia, the President of Transneft, N. Tokarev, said.
