Lukoil increases production of hydrocarbons to 2.291 million barrels per day

In the first nine months, the production of marketable hydrocarbons of the largest Russian private oil company Lukoil amounted to 2.291 million barrels of oil equivalent per day that is by 4.6% more than in 2013, the company reported.

In the first nine months, the production of liquid hydrocarbons made up 1.975 million barrels per day, which is by 5.9% more than in the same period of the previous year. "The production growth is mainly connected with the start of the commercial oil production on the West Qurna-2 project in Iraq," - the company reports.
