Gas extraction in Russia fell by 2.4% to 509.9 bln cubic m over 10 months
Gas extraction in Russia in Jan-October 2015 fell by 2.4% to 509.9 bln cubic m against Jan-October 2014 due to the reduction of extraction by the enterprises of Gazprom group by 7.7% to 332.1 bln cubic m, the Ministry of Economic Development reports.
Independent producers and oil companies keep the tendency of increasing gas extraction.
The Ministry states that gas consumption in the domestic market in Jan-October 2015 fell by 4.7% to 349.6 bln cubic m against Jan-October 2014 due to the reduction of gas supply to the electric stations and boiler houses of UES Russia.
Gas export in Jan-October 2015 reached the level of 2014 (99.6%) and made up 146.4 bln cubic m due to the sharp growth of export to the far abroad countries. The stake of export in Jan-October 2015 in the total volume of gas extortion rose and made up 28.7%. Gas export to the far abroad countries rose by 6.7% to 114 bln cubic m.
