The plant for liquefaction of natural gas Baltic LNG in the Leningrad region is planned to be launched by 2020 - at furthest by 2021. This was announced be vice-chairman of the Gazprom’s Board Valery Golubev at the IV International Conference "Management of real estate corporations" in St. Petersburg today.
"By 2020 - at furthest by 2021, the plant on the coast of the Gulf of Finland will be launched," - said Golubev. At the same time, he called the Baltic LNG project "a very important and interesting" in terms of export opportunities and gas supply to the Kaliningrad region.
