Within the first ten months of 2015 the production of polyethylene in Russia rose by 7.3%.

Within first ten months of this year the release of polyethylene (PE) in Russia increased by 7.3% and exceeded 1.29 million tons compared to the same period of 2014. The volumes of production of all kinds of PE rose, according to SkanPlast of MRC.

In October the total production of polyethylene in Russia rose to 128.85 thoussand tons against 91.7 thousand tons in the previous month (in September Kazanorgsintez and Tomskneftekhim were under repairs, as well as the facilities of Stavrolen). In general, in January - October 2015 the total production of all kinds of polyethylene exceeded the level of 1.29 million tons versus 1.21 million tons a year earlier. The most significant increase in the volume of production fell to linear polyethylene (LDL).
