NOVATEK is about to increase oil production 1.5 fold in 2014

The Russian largest private gas producer NOVATEK anticipates gas production increase by 7-8% in 2014. The head and shareholder of the company L.Mikhelson asserted, Reuters reports.
The company has significantly increased its production over the last years. In December, it got permission from the Russian government to approach the global market to export LNG. It is about to start it from its plant in Yamal in 2017.
