Moreover, Novatek Gas & Power plans to supply LNG into the Asia Pacific Region. The “Yamal LNG” project implies the construction of a plant for liquefied natural gas (LNG) production with the capacity of 16.5 million tons per year on the South-Tambei deposit resource base. As of December 31st, 2012 according to PRMS standards proven and possible gas reserves of the deposit were estimated at 907 billion cubic meters. The project's realization provides for transport infrastructure, including a sea port and an airport near Sabetta village (north-east of the Yamal peninsula). The final investment decision was made on December 18th, 2013.
