Greece refuses to support the EU's threat against Russia.
The new Greek government have refused to support the call from the EU to tighten sanctions against Russia.
According to the Financial Times newspaper, a spokesman for the new Greek government formed on the basis of left-wing coalition SYRIZA and right-wing Conservative Party "Anel" ("Independent Greeks"), stated that the authorities did not approve a formal declaration of the EU leaders with accusations against Russia and threats to tighten sanctions.
The communiqué published by the head of the EU informs that the foreign ministers at a regular meeting in Brussels consider the possibility of new sanctions against Russia in connection with the firing at Mariupol.
