Russian gas – basis of China’s development

The rates of shale gas production have started to slow down in China when the oil price has sharply fallen. Nevertheless due to the recent deal on the construction of Power of Siberia, Beijing will has an  opportunity to hope for a stable gas supply from Russia during the period of high volatility in the market.

From 2010 when the US Government of State for the first time called the layer hydrofraction technologies to be the solution for the settlement of all energy problems, this technology has changed the US energy sector, however, in Asia this technology is still a possible solution to the problem. Now China and Europe don’t develop this technology any more due to the oil price fall.

The larger part of the existing agreements with China hasn’t moved from the state of preliminary study of oil and gas deposits. But for the companies working in the shale gas production sector, the advice not to try to forecast oil price has turned out to be the most useful.
