The shareholders of British Volga Gas refused to sell the company, as they failed to find applicants for the assets. The company stops negotiations with potential investors taking into consideration the current economic situation and oil price drop, Kommersant writes.
The Board of Directors of Volga Gas took a decision on the sale of the company in June 2014. Volga-Gas develops Vostochno-Makarovsky subsurface site in the Volgograd region, Karpensky, Prikaspiysky sites and “Urozhainoye-2” area in the Saratov region.
