Latvia its ready to buy Russian gas even after liberalization of its gas market

After liberalizing its gas market Latvia will continue to be ready to buy Russian gas. This was said by the Minister of Economy of Latvia Dana Reyznietse- Ozola.

"As I have said many times, the gas molecules have no nationality. We are ready to buy Russian gas, if it is cheaper than others’. The ability to buy it from other suppliers motivates Latvijas Gāze (the Latvian gas company) and Gazprom to give us a better price," - she said.
