Tomskneft has started the industrial drilling at Karasevsky deposit

In 2013 a cluster of 10 wells will be drilled at the Karasevky deposit, 5 of which are horizontal production wells, 4 – slanting injection wells and 1 – water supply well. The total volume of the operational drilling in 2013 is 32.9 thousand m.

The development of the vasyugan subsoil is the foundation for the future company’s work in this region, CEO of Tomskneft OJSC, V. Paltsev said. At the present time Tomskneft has an opportunity to engage new sites of mineral resource base into the development. Taking into account the geologic forecasts and presence of the closely located developed infrastructure, we decided to activate works at this license block. If the result is successful, we will construct similar clusters of wells at the North-Karasevsky and West-Karasevsky oil deposits.
