Iraq calls Lukoil to increase oil extraction at its deposits. What in exchange?

​Iraq plans to persuade Lukoil to increase oil extraction in  the country.

The PM of Iraq, Kh. Al-Abadi, has ordered the Ministry of Oil to start negotiations with Lukoil on the increase of oil extraction at the deposits developed by Lukoil.

The PM came to such a decision after the meeting with the head of Lukoil, V. Alekperov.

Iraq has long been dreaming about the oil extraction growth in the country making good promises to foreign countries.

Kurdistan pays its part of the revenue from oil sale.

Lukoil develops the Western Qurna-2 deposit in Iraq.

The company planned to complete to return the expenditure into the development of the Western Qurna-2 deposit until the end of 2015.
