The Ukraine earned $2 bln on gas pumping in 2015

The revenue of the Ukraine on gas pumping in 2015 exceeded $2 bln, the President of Ukrtransgas, I. Prokopiv, said.
Speaking about the contract with Naftogas, we make this income only in the part of the tariff approved by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission, the rest stays at Naftogas to cover its deficit.
According to him, the profitable part of the company rose by almost $422 mln in 2015 against 2014.
In 2015 the Ukraine increased gas transit to Europe (including Moldavia) by 7.9% or by 4.9 bln cubic m against 2014 to 67.1 bln cubic m.
In Jan-Feb 2016 the Ukraine increased gas transit to Europe by 1.6 times against Jan-Feb 2015.
